At Flackwell Boxing and Fitness, we offer boxing and fitness sessions for all of the family. Starting at 5 years old and up. We are an England Boxing affiliated club, who offer coaching with Level 1 and 2 boxing coaches, these coaches are highly experienced, knowledgeable, passionate and supportive.

We enjoy helping people to be the best version of themselves, helping you work and train hard whilst having fun and feeling part of something special. A communiuty like no other.

Whoever you are we welcome you in to our friendly community! Feeling nervous, no need... we aim to ensure everyone that walks through the door are taken good care of.

Mark is raising funds to keep classes affordable, provide necessary equipment, and offer valuable programs. With your support, we can ensure children have access to a positive environment. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference.

Director & Coach

Mark R.

Introducing Mark, a dedicated boxing enthusiast who has been actively involved in the sport since his early years. Following his diagnosis with Ulcerative Colitis, Mark shifted his focus towards fitness aspect of boxing and obtained a certification as a Personal Trainer. When his son expressed his ambition to become a world champion, Mark decided to venture into the coaching side of boxing. He firmly believes that boxing can have a transformative impact on one's life, whether it be through competition or training. Mark extends a challenge to those who consider themselves fit to come and experience boxing firsthand. Mark is Level 2 England Boxing certified.

Coach

Shane.

Well, well, well, look who we have here! Shane, the undefeated boxing champ with a face that could launch a thousand ships! It all started in 1970 when he didn't want to be left out by his best friend, so he decided to join the boxing club. No gum shields or head guards back then, but Shane had three skills bouts in 1973 and loved it! Fast forward to 1978, and he won a national title, boxed eight times for England, and twice for Great Britain, all while keeping his pretty face intact. Now, he's been coaching for over 20 years, and we're pretty sure his students are grateful for the headgear!

Dani

Introducing Dani, our badass coach who leads our Fierce Female and Music-oriented classes. With 15 years of experience in Boxing and Boxfit, Dani knows her jabs from her hooks. She's tried every boxing club in town, but they were all too competitive or too male-oriented for her taste. Until she found us, Flackwell Boxing & Fitness! Dani provides a safe and friendly space for women to learn the sport of boxing or get fit with Boxfit. Dani is a certified England Boxing Level 1 Coach and is ready to kick your butt into shape. Alright, folks, let me introduce you to the one and only Dave, aka Uncle! He's not just our Business Operations guy, he's also one of our toughest coaches. But hey, don't worry, he's got jokes for days! Just be prepared to sweat your gloves off while you're laughing your butt off!

Tasha

Meet Tasha, who has been here for years with her daughter Demi being one of our best youngest female boxers!

Tasha runs all our Administrative duties and is here to offer assistance and guidance for all of your queries. You can find her on the Reception desk through the week.

Reception

Caroline

Caroline is an invaluable member of our reception team, with years of experience in business management and customer service. She is always ready to offer guidance and assistance to our clients. Caroline takes great pride in her son Mark's passion and determination, and is grateful for the support of her family and friends, including her two boxing-loving grandsons.

I joined the ladies only classes in October and I can not recommend this club enough if you are looking to get fit, have fun and learn a new skill. The coaches are all amazing and work super hard to make sure the class is fun, enjoyable and accessible for all abilities and most importantly make everyone feel welcome and part of the flackwell boxing family. The coaches are super supportive and always encouraging you to push harder and be your best! It is a place where you can come have fun, work hard and forget any other stress. I never thought I would love Mondays but I do now! I would definitely recommend to everyone!
